Fokker Triplane

This is the Fokker Triplane. Its a WWI German plane. The triplane’s advantage was the third set of wings, which was different than most planes of the time that only had two sets of wings. This made the triplane more maneuverable than most fighters of the time, but slower because the third set of wings add drag. I will post information on another plane tomorrow.

  1. Good work! And I am sure you know that the triplane was also the favorite mount of the infamous Baron Manfred Von Richthofen, the highest scoring ace of the war.
